Every big religion in the world has a founder and date of origination. Like for eg:- Jesus for Christianity, Prophet Muhammad for Islam, Mahavira for Jainsim and Buddha for Buddhism.
But In case of Hinduism it has no exact founder because it has no actual or exact date of origination. If you will go in detal, The Gods or the Bhagwans are considered as the founders
The original name of Hinduism is Sanātana Dharma the name hindu or Indu has been given by the greeks to describe the people living around the Indus River
When the middle ages in the western Europe was at its peak. Hindustan has became the popular word to describe India. In the 19th Century Englishmen added ism to hindu and it was later adopted by the Sanatanis themselves.
3. The Rig Veda is the oldest known book in the world
The Rig Veda is the first, of all the four vedas and is written in Sanskrit language. The date is not exact but most experts date it to 1500 years BC. It is the oldest known book in the world and therefore it is a proof depicting Hinduism as the oldest of all.
Hinduism is one of the religions that teaches us the concept of Ahimsa. It is a sanskrit word which actually means to "not to harm" and compassion.
That is why pure Hindus or Sanatanis donot choose to eat non-veg as it is prohibited or simply not followed by our Gods.
Hinduism is one of the religions who respect all the living beings. The gods have sawaris therefore as vehicle to move and treat them as their pets.
For hindus there 4 goals of life for hindus
These are 1. Dharma (righteousness), 2. Artha (money for family), 3. Kama (right desire) and 4. Moksha (salvation)
This is one of the reasons that makes Hinnduism sacred from other religions. Hindus believe to get Moksha at last after completing the life and leave he cycle of reincarnation.

Yoga is one of the activities that came from hinduism. The meaning of Yoga is "Union with God". It is a health activity or meditation to increase your mental, physical and spritual strength.
There are various forms of yoga and Hatha yoga is one of the most famous in them.
7. The Kumbh Mela is the largest spiritual gathering in the world
The Kumbh Mela festival has been awarded as a cultural heritage by UNESCO.
On 4 February 2019 there was a gathering of more then 50 million people. It is said that it was even visible from space
8. Gods can take many forms in Hinduism
It is said that God is one single energy. He is the one who takes many forms as different gods and godesses. It is also said that a part of god lives in every single being of the universe.
It also makes Hinduism unique because other religions are monotheistic.
9. Sanskrit is the oldest language spoken till now.
Sanskrit is often considered as the mother of Hindi language or the language of Gods. All the religious texts, scripts and mantras of hinduism are written in Sanskrit.
There are around 5 million Sanskrit speakers till now.
10. Anyone can attain Salvation
There is no saying in Hinduism that people from other religions can't attain salvation or enlightenment. Hinduism is a sacred religion and do not discriminate people from low castes or other religions. Everyone is equal in the vision of Ram.
