Vedic Science

Hinduism is a religion that has existed for thousands of years. It is a faith that believes in the existence of one God, called the Supreme Being or Brahman. The Hindu texts contain many stories about the creation of the universe, as well as how various gods interacted with humans.

The Scientific study of the vedas are nedded to be in the development of knowledge again.

Most of the science we study today are directly or indirectly related to vedas. You may not believe me now but it's true. Let's make you understand it by decoding the vedas.

In Hanuman Chalisa it is stately mentioned that Shree Hanuman ji, in his childhood assumed the sun to be a mango, he jumped to eat it. Shree Goswami Tulsidas ji recounts this incident and wrote it in his hanuman chalisa:

yuga-sahasra-yojana para bhanu
 leelyo tahi madhura phala janu

Here the distance he travelled is mentioned as yuga-sahasra-yojana. Let us decode this.
According to Bhagwad Gita one day of Brahma is equivalent to 1000 yugas and
1 yuga = 12,000 divine years
(1 divine year =360 years)

Now in vedic literature 1 sahasra = 1000 count data.

and 1 yojana = 8 miles(approx.)

According to the above verse the exact distance from Sun to Earth is
yuga-sahasra-yojana = 12000 X 1000 X 8 miles
= 96 million miles
= 153.6 million kilometres.
This calculation is much much closer to current scientific calculation of the distance from Sun to Earth.

The Hindu scriptures also contain scientific knowledge about astronomy, physics, and mathematics that would be considered advanced by today's standards. In fact, some Hindu texts are even more advanced than modern science textbooks on certain topics today!

For example, Hindus believe that there are seven planets in our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth (or Prithvi), Mars (or Surya), Jupiter (or Agni), Saturn (or Vayu), and Rahu (or Ketu). They also believe that these planets revolve around our sun at different speeds depending on their distance from it. Hindus also believed that our moon shines because it is attached to a rock named Pusha - which pushes against it every day so it does not fall on earth!

Another interesting bit about Hinduism is that they believed in natural cycles like seasons and sunrise/sunset times.
The Upanishads, which were written between 800 BC and 200 BC, are considered to be the earliest known commentaries on Hinduism. These texts discuss questions such as "Who am I?" and "Where did I come from?" They also discuss topics such as morality, ethics and spirituality.
