Our great Sanatan Dharma

0
Introduction

About 6000 years ago, there was only one religion in the whole world, whose name was Sanatana Dharma and also called Vedic Religion. The simple meaning of Sanatan Vedic religion was to live life in the manner described in the Vedas. The Vedic route, which was the only means to take human life to its height in every way. Then there were only two castes in the whole world, one was the Aryans who were Vedamargi and the other non-Aryans who did not follow the Vedas.
The question arises what are the Vedas? Who wrote these?

Well let's discuss it from the glance of our "bhagwans"

1.Bhagwan RadhaKrishna(Kṛṣṇa):

As the image above suggests Bhagwan Krishna the "MurliDhar", "Sawra", "RadhaRaman",  "Makhanchor" is the eight incarvination(avatar) of lord Vishnu. is like a feeling for all the Sanatanis that cannot be expressed. Every true Sanatani becomes in deep love with him by just a glance.
All of us hear his childhood stories which gives us goosebumps. His way of talking ,
His flute, His walk everything is loved by Sanatanis.

All his teachings, preachings and lifestyle is written in the Shreemad bhagavad Mahapuran where he taught the world about Dharma and every life related questions to Arjuna(one in 5 pandavas).

2. Bhagwan SitaRam (Rāma):

Bhagwan Shree Ram is the seventh and most popular incarvination of lord Vishnu:. his popular names are "Ragunath", "RamChandra", "Ayodhyapati" etc.. He is the the symbol of Sanatan Dharma. People take His name with pride and feel safe in the hands of him. He was been given the title of "Maryada Purushottam". The best man ever, The best king ever, The Best husband ever, the best Brother ever, the best God ever, The best friend ever, The best son ever, The best shishya ever.
Any word in the dictionary of Oxford cannot define him a feeling for all the Sanatanis.

His lifestyle called the Ramayana. Shree Tulsidas ji has a great bhakt of Bhagwan rama has written the Ramcharitmanas where he describes the life of Bhagwan Rama in Awadhi language.

3.Bhagwan GauriShankar(śiva):

The most powerful and the destroyer. Bhagwan Shiva is one of the tridevs. His power and greatness is infinite all his preachers and Bhaktas remain bold because they know the "Mahakal", "BhutBhava Bhuteshwar", "Trilokinath", "Pashupati nath", "Avinashi" is with them In Santan dharma, the universe is thought to regenerate in cycles (every 2,160,000,000 years). Shiva destroys the universe at the end of each cycle which then allows for a new Creation.

Being a Hindu, most people come across the term “Jyotirlinga” quite a few times while growing up. Shiva’s Jyotirlinga is highly revered among the Hindus. A Jyotirlinga is a shrine where Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of a Jyotirlingam. Now you would ask what a Jyotirlingam is? It is the radiant sign of The Almighty. A Jyotirlinga is a holy representation of Lord Shiva. The word ‘Jyoti’ means light and ‘linga’ means sign. Jyotirlinga is the light of Lord Shiva.
There are 12 Jyotirlinga in India. It is believed that Lord Shiva first manifested himself on Earth on the night of the Aridra Nakshatra, thus the special reverence for the Jyotirlinga.

Shiva's kathas are discussed in the Shiv Puran.

4. Bhagwan LaxmiNarayan (Nārāyaṇa):

Bhagwa Narayan also known as Bhagwan Vishnu is also one of the tridevs. He is the preserver of the world. Whenever there is an insecurity to dharma. Lord Vishnu takes his avatara and save the world from evil and sin.

Following is an overview of the 10 principal avatars of Vishnu:

First avatara of Vishnu : Matsya or the Fish avatar: in this form Vishnu saved the Saint Vaivaswata, the hindu variety of the biblical Noah (or vice versa).
Second avatara of Vishnu : Kurma or the Turtle avatar : at the Churning of the Ocean, Vishnu as Koorma (or Kurma) offered his back as a pivot on which to rest the Mount Mandara, used as a churning stick by gods and demons.
Third avatara of Vishnu : Varaha or the Boar incarnation of Vishnu : he killed the demon Hiranyaksha, recovered the stolen Veda’s and released the Earth from the bottom of the ocean.
Fourth avatara of Vishnu : Narasingha or the Lion avatar : as a creature who was half-lion and half-man, Vishnu killed the demon Hiranyashasipu, brother of Niranyaksha, who had gained the boon of immunity from attacks by man, beast or god.
Fifth avatara of Vishnu : Vamana or the Dwarf incarnation : he killed the demon Bali, who had gained dominion over the Earth and had chased the gods from the heavens.
Sixth avatara of Vishnu : Parasurama : he killed the King Kartavirya, who had stolen the holy cow Kamadhenu, which could grant all desires.
Seventh avatara of Vishnu : Ram : he killed the demon King Ravana, who had abducted Sita. More on Ram can be read on the page 1.
Eigth avatara of Vishnu : Krishna : he killed Kansa, son of a demon and the tyrannical King of Mathura. More on Krishna can be read in the Life of Krishna More on Krishna can be read on the page 1.
Ninth avatara of Vishnu : Buddha : Vishnu incarnated to remove suffering from the world. More on Buddha can be read on the Buddha page. While some Hindus may oppose to seeing Buddha as a Vishnu incarnation, many other Hindus in fact embrace Buddha as such and worship Buddha both in Buddhist temples as in Hindu temples.
Tenth avatara of Vishnu : Kalki : still to come at the end of the Kaliyuga or the present age of decline, when Vishnu will appear in person on Earth, seated on a white horse, Kalki, which is his tenth incarnation.

Bhagwan Vishnu's kathas are described in detail in Vishnu Puranah:
