Myth #5 There are 330 million gods in Hinduism

This is another one of the biggest lie or misconception people have.
Although this myth is true but it is misunderstood by the words. In Sanskrit there is a word "कोटि" which has two meanings one is crores that is 10 million and another is types.
The word in Sanskrit scriptures has been used as 33 कोटि देवी देवता which actually means there are 33 deities in Hindusim not 33 crores or 330 million gods
There are only three Gods i,e, Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.

These stupid myths should be stopped and needs to be controlled among people spreading it. Our religions teaches love and purity of Ahimsa the noble truth we all are part of a sacred society and we should harm its dignity.
